Rootbang is a work for saxophone ensemble spanning a number of different moods. A chaotic and densely chromatic beginning is met with a smoother and jazzier middle section, followed by an energetic recapitulation with a fun honky-tonk style ending (a direct nod to prog metal supergroup Liquid Tension Experiment).
